Floral Resin Teddy Workshop

I would love for you to join me for a creative evening of flowers and resin! In this 2.5-hour workshop, I’ll show you how to preserve the beauty of real dried botanicals inside a cute, crystal-clear keepsake bear. Due to the materials used, this workshop is suitable for ages 16 and up.
It’s a wonderful way to unwind, get creative, and make something truly unique.
What You'll Do & Learn:
• Resin Fundamentals: Get a comprehensive introduction to epoxy resin, including understanding its properties, safety guidelines, and proper handling. We'll demystify mixing ratios, working temperatures, and the curing process.
• Safety First: Learn all about essential personal protective equipment (PPE) and best practices for a safe and enjoyable resin art experience.
• Embedding Embellishments: I'll guide you on how to incorporate real flowers, delicate gold or copper foil flakes or glitter.
• Bubble Busting: Learn the professional tricks for removing unwanted bubbles from your resin for a flawless, glass-like finish using a heat gun (safely and under supervision!).
• Finishing Touches: Understand the demoulding process and what to expect as your resin cures to its final hard state. We'll discuss how to care for your finished resin piece.

All Materials Provided: I’ll bring everything you need, including high-quality resin, molds, and a wide variety of beautiful real dried flowers for you to choose from. You're welcome to bring and include your own flowers as well, just make sure they're completely dry.

Create Your Own: I will guide you step-by-step as you design and pour your very own custom bear.
Collecting Your Handmade Bear
As you may know, resin is a "slow art"—it needs time to cure and harden properly. Your custom-designed bear will stay with me for a few days to set.
Once it’s ready, you can collect your finished piece:
At Ely Markets: Find me at my stall on a weekend market day that suits you.
In Person: We can arrange a private local pickup that works for both of us.

Depends on the item. Check individual description, some items are one-off, and some we can reproduce very similarly.
Can you gift wrap it and include a note?
We offer gift wrap and handwritten personalised notes.
Do you sell wholesale?
We do. Send us a message if you want to stock our jewellery.
How should I care for my jewellery?
Try to keep your resin jewellery away from lotions and sprays such as suntan lotion or abrasive creams, as these can affect the finish of the resin.
Our resin jewellery is some of the hardiest available, but try to avoid sharp, pointy things that could scratch the surface.
Cleaning of resin jewellery is best with a soft, clean cloth.
Store your resin jewellery out of direct sunlight, somewhere dry. Our resin is incredibly UV stable, but extended exposure to direct sunlight can eventually yellow resin.
I need an item by a certain date.
We dispatch most of our orders within 3-4 working days. If you need it by a certain date and you've ordered it enough time in advance, chances are it'll get to you in time. Once it's out of our hands, though, we don't have any control over how fast UK (or international) postal services go.
Make sure to order customised item well in advance (2-3 weeks), as it will take me some time to make it.
Do you work with cremation ashes?
Yes we do. Let us know what kind of setting or design you have in mind, and we'll let you know if that's something we can do for you.
